Receptive Tour Consultants has relationships with several extraordinary New York City hotels in central Manhattan. Airport and Cruise Terminal Meet and Greet

If you want a truly seamless arrival in New York City, we highly recommend a meet and greet service. An experienced company representative who is also a licensed sightseeing guide will meet your group at the airport and escort the group to the coach bus.

The representative will then accompany your group to their hotel and give you an overview of the city. They can also assist with check-in if necessary and give you all the tips you’ll need to start your trip off right. There is no better way to arrive, worry-free, in New York City.

We provide meet and greet services for John F. Kennedy Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Newark International. Meet and Greets are also available at Cruise Terminals.

New York City Tour Management

Receptive Tour Consultants offers comprehensive ad-hoc and tour series “on-site” Management for groups beginning their extended USA East Coast adventure in New York City.

This service provides your company with its own step-on local Tour Manager on an as-needed basis.

After a two or three day stop-over in New York City, many groups, especially those visiting from abroad, begin an extended USA East Coast motor-coach adventure.

The service begins when the tour manager meets your client upon their arrival at the airport. The group is accompanied through-out until they are returned to the airport, in whatever city, at the end of their multi-day adventure. The tour manager, who will act as your company’s on-site representative, stays with the group through out their stay in the United States.

Depending upon the type of group and duration, tour destinations often include Boston, Niagara Falls, Hershey, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., with Orlando, Montreal, and Toronto as popular add-ons. The Tour Manager will travel with the group to all stops and will need a single room in each of the hotels outside of New York City were the group stays.

Spontaneous New York City

Whether it’s Macy’s, Wall Street, Chinatown, Tiffany’s, South Street Seaport, a cruise on the Staten Island Ferry, Broadway Show Tickets, or sparing them from having to ask a passer-by to take their photo in Times Square, your client will be pleased that rigid flexibility is the order of the day.

Airport Meet and Greet Service

This service provides your company with its’ own “on-site” Airport travel manager on an as needed basis. The travel manager meets the arriving international client just after clearing customs, and/or the domestic client at baggage claim. Upon baggage retrieval and attending to any immediate needs your clients might have, they are directed to the awaiting ground transportation.

Available to all your clients, but advised for parties of 7 and more, the travel manager will escort the guests to their Manhattan hotel and facilitate a stress free check-in.

To ensure a smooth and seamless transition from arrival to hotel check-in, the travel manager will verify the in-bound flight time, confirm baggage handling and ground transportation arrangements, as well as calling ahead to the driver and hotel giving them a heads- up as to the guests’ anticipated arrival time and to re-confirm any special requests such as in-room welcome baskets.

New York City Sightseeing and Shopping

A personable licensed NYC sightseeing guide will meet your client at their hotel to begin their guided shopping tour.

For groups, the guide (1 per coach) can meet them at their hotel or, if visiting NYC for the day, at a pre-determined location in NYC, usually 43rd Street & 8th Avenue

In addition to perfect English, other languages spoken by our sightseeing guides include: French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, and Mandarin Chinese.

Whether it’s pizza, hot dogs, corned beef or Chinatown, New York City has some of the best food in the world.

Some tour groups opt to have the participants purchase their own meal on location. Others may prefer to include it as part of the overall tour package.
If this is the case, we can provide suggestions, make reservations or even include specific group meals as part of a customized NYC Freestyle program.

New York City Sightseeing

RTC offers structured and freestyle NYC Sightseeing and Shopping options for groups and leisure travelers.

Our licensed NYC Sightseeing Guides bring their unique experiences, areas of expertise and a passion for the city they call home to the microphone.

Tours are four or more hours including driving and walking to points of interest in Midtown and lower or upper Manhattan. Tour highlights will vary depending upon the type of group, their interests, traffic and weather conditions.

Some of NYC’s popular attractions require admission tickets. You have the option of purchasing them on your own or taking advantage of our NYC Freestyle program. We recommend this time and cost saving option for travelers spending 3 or more full days in NYC.
